Alex Borstein

Alex Borstein is an American actor, voice actress comedy writer and producer. She's well-known for her work on the TV series 'MADtv, "Family Guy," and 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It is said that she is a talented actress that excels in every show, even when she's not the main character. Seth MacFarlane approached Borstein to voice the show because she's more than an amazing comedian or actress, but has an incredibly unique voice. Borstein made her name after the show was a big success. The show also garnered Borstein the Emmy Award for Outstanding Character Voice-over Performance. Her love for comedy began in the early years of her life. She did her first stand-up routine when she was only sixteen. She is afflicted by hemophilia, an extremely severe condition which has affected her daughter, brother, and uncle.
