Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre, a Canadian actress was born. Lefevre, who was waiting tables when she was in her teens was discovered by a Canadian filmmaker. He helped her land the role of her debut in the acting world as a actress. She later moved towards Los Angeles where she earned a part for the movie What About Brian (2006). While working in the Montreal sushi bar in her teen years, a regular customer heard about her ambitions to be an actor and introduced her to a casting director. It was the result that led to an Canadian TV sitcom. She was featured in various episodes of David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004). This led to her starring role in the 2008 U.S. adaptation of the BBC smash Life on Mars. The family of her father is French however, she grew up speaking mostly English She eventually made the move to Los Angeles in 2004 due because of the absence of parts that spoke English in Montreal. The most prominent role she played was Catherine Hardwicke's Twilight adaptation. The novel is the very first book in an ongoing series of popular teenager vampire books.
