Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch (1981-January-19) is an American actress. Her most well-known role is the character of Eve/Juliette Silverton as seen in Grimm, an NBC show Grimm. Tulloch lived between Spain Uruguay Argentina and San Diego California. Tulloch uses the name Bitsie that isn't a contraction of her given name Elizabeth however it is a tribute to her oddly-nicknamed grandfather a World War II bomber pilot who also was involved in the 1961 Goldsboro B52 plane crash. Tulloch's acting career began with her being given the nickname Bitsie. It continued to be so until 2017 when Tulloch made the decision to change her name to Elizabeth. I still introduce myself by the name of Bitsie when I meet people. I liked the name at the time I started to act during my early 20s. As I'm now at my mid-30s I'm beginning to want to return to Elizabeth for billing reasons. Actually, it wasn't an idea I'd ever thought of. Producers were like Hey we noticed it was Elizabeth while we were filling out your legal papers. Would you be happy with this type of billing? It was a thought that I had about it, and then I called my agent and my manager and they were like That's definitely not a bad concept. You're older. Bitsie however, on the other hand is an adorable and cute name. It's cute. So thats really all the story was about. Elizabeth, I'm not introducing myself now. Just for future billing. Tulloch comes from Scottish as well as Spanish descent. Tulloch states that her parents were from Spain though it isn't her native language. The paternal grandparents of her grandmother are from Renfrewshire as is her grandfather's family. Both came from the region around Kirkwall and Scotland. In an interview for BBC News, she stated that she believes that the Tullochs came to the US around 1880. And the Kerrs did so in the middle century. After she returned home to U.S., she went to Bedford New York for middle and secondary school. Tulloch completed her magna cum laude in Harvard University with a double major in English as well as American Literature and Visual and Environmental Studies.
