Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. She has released more than 20 albums. The songs of DiFranco are classified as folk or alternative rock. However, they also have influences from hip hop music, jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco is widely recognized as the feminist's icon and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the pioneer in DIY music. It was one of the very first musicians to launch the label she created in the year 1990. DiFranco was a born on 23rd September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her mother is from Montreal as is her father, who is Italian origins. Her song 32 Flavors was composed by her and is performed by Ani. The song is featured on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. On the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a version of the song. DiFranco apology was made in the year 2013 after it was revealed that she was scheduled to hold the three-day event on an Louisiana former slave plantation.
