She is active in the business since 1987 and has appeared in various TV shows and films. The most popular of her work is her work on television than in film. Eva is well-known for her roles in the role of Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and as the detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami. The latter even garnered her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and gave her a chance to explore her creativity in music. In addition to being an actor, Eva is a philanthropist and an businesswoman. Eva has three husbands, and an infant from the third.
