Lindsey Vonn is an American skier born on October 18, 1984. In 2010, she retired after having won 4 World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal for downhill skis. Vonn is ranked second in the world of female skiers and men on the basis of super scores. She is among the world's greatest skiers as well as the most popular american skier. Caroline Vonn, also known by the name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer that is part of the US Ski Team. Four times she has been named the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is a renowned and long-running history with American athletics. She is one of only six females in the history of sports who have won all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She won 82 World Cups. She is among the top skiers around the globe and the most popular American ski racer has decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. A string of health problems led this Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to make the decision to retire. Her announcement was made through social media.
