She is one of only six females in the history of sports who have won all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She won 82 World Cups. She is among the top skiers around the globe and the most popular American ski racer has decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. A string of health problems led this Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to make the decision to retire. Her announcement was made through social media.
