Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the United States. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most well-known films. She was drawn to becoming an artist was influenced by her upbringing within an New York family of artists. When she was a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention to modeling and acting. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged and was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films MacGraw was named the most successful female at the box office in history. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was released. MacGraw is married three times.
